Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded in 1913 at Howard University and the Lambda Omicron Chapter was founded in 1974 on the campus of the College of Charleston. The Chapter regularly supports the Lowcountry Food Bank and One80 Place and members volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House.
