For over 83 years Camp Joy has been providing camp experiences to economically disadvantaged youth, foster youth, and children with medical and special needs. By bringing children with similar challenges together, we create moments of joy amidst their hardships. Together, with your help, we offer kids respite in a safe, nurturing natural environment, and they tap into their own resilience and strength to make themselves whole and the world a better place. Our campers are buoyed with new relationships with other kids, counselors, and the place that last a lifetime. It all happens among shady trees, colorful flowers, peaceful trails, soaking rains, open fields, roaring campfires, and quiet cabin candle chats.

As our community begins to open up, we need your help to bring kids back together and to help them heal from the prolonged isolation. Camp Joys programs will help kids and teachers re-establish relationships, rebuild personal and interpersonal skills and help students work better together as a member of a team. Camp Joys programs will be a critical tool to help children reacclimate to the school climate after the crisis. The program not only teaches kids teamwork and leadership, but also lets them learn about the environment, astronomy and science in a way that only the outdoors can provide.
