Dream Big Scholarships are awarded to assist students experiencing an economic hardship with up to 9 hours of tuition assistance in order to make their dream of enrolling at SAC a reality. The Dream Big Scholarship was awarded to Abraham Segundo, a first-generation college student returning to school to pursue a degree in Kinesiology in Fall, 2020. Abraham comes from a family of six, who do not see the importance of college. Abraham left his full-time job and enrolled full-time at SAC to pursuit his dream is to become a teacher and coach for low-income high school students. He recently transferred to Texas A&M SA.
