El Centro Académico Cultural de Humboldt (El Centro) primarily supports students of Latin American descent, guiding them toward success in a way that honors their cultural and historical identities. Committed to fostering academic, intellectual, personal, and professional growth, El Centro serves as a resource where students can explore shared values, diverse experiences, distinct histories, and multidimensional identities—empowering both individuals and communities. The goal is to provide hospitality, genuine support, and a deep sense of belonging. El Centro is intended to serve, support, and affirm cultural identities while remaining open to all cultures. All students, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin, who are interested in El Centro are welcome.
Your support helps provide a culturally appropriate menu for graduation that celebrates students’ heritage and highlights the richness of their diversity. This is the largest cultural graduation at Humboldt, welcoming over 300 guests, including families who travel from all over the country to celebrate this special milestone. To truly honor the graduates and their loved ones, we want to offer a traditional menu inspired by the flavors of this culture, celebrating deep roots and providing comfort to those who have traveled far to be part of this moment. With your generosity, this celebration will be truly unforgettable.
Ensure every student can celebrate their achievements and cultural identity. Make your impact today—give now!
