This October, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire is raising critical funds for our emergency shelter to directly support survivors.
With your support of the Adopt-A-Room program, you are making a clear statement to the community and to our residents that you are personally committed to supporting families and individuals experiencing domestic violence. This program provides needed support to help survivors on their journey towards regaining self-sufficiency and becoming more empowered individuals . Through personalized and professional support services, and a team of caring individuals, we are helping to change lives!
Supporting CCCNH's Emergency Shelter helps contribute to our goal of making our shelter into a tranquil place of healing. A survivors stay at the shelter is typically between three to six months, but some stay for as long as a year. A family's size can range from two, with a single parent and a child, up to a family as large as five. Last year, CCCNH helped 48 individuals and families at our shelter, providing 3102 bed nights for them. This year, we have already helped 41 people, providing 2,165 bed nights! The shelter is always full. Your donation will help make an indelible impact during their time of transition.
