Visit the charity's profileMake a difference in the success of engineering students by donating to the Jeffrey S. Navarro Mentorship Program. Jeffery Navarro mentors foster an inclusive engineering community and provide peer-to-peer mentoring for students in the engineering program, which is crucial to fostering student achievement.
The program promotes success in the engineering curriculum while encouraging students to attain their maximum potential. Mentors, who receive a stipend for their efforts, guide, and support fellow engineering students. The mentorship is aimed at students earlier on in the program to encourage good study habits, good time management skills, and awareness of the resources available to them.
Since the program's inception, mentors have:
-Conducted one-on-one meetings with mentees
-Facilitated exam review sessions
-Developed an improved course flowchart
-Developed a web page with career and academic resources
-Implemented professional development workshops and seminars
-Hosted multiple community events (pizza parties, mini-golf outings, etc.)
Would you please make a gift to the Jeffrey S. Navarro Mentorship today? Your gift will empower qualified engineering students to take on mentoring roles and support their peers in graduating and becoming accomplished professionals.
