We have more interest than we can support and have one of the most competitive rosters in our 29 year history.
In keeping with the original goals and values of the team when it was founded, we work to foster an environment where horse-loving people can come together and ride. For us, this means ensuring that all people can ride regardless of their prior experience or financial access.
To help lower barriers to entry, we maintain a large team inventory of gear and also have a scholarship program to subsidize lesson costs for riders who receive financial aid from the college. By maintaining our inventory and keeping a robust scholarship program, we are able to give students an opportunity to ride that they otherwise would not have.
$5 - curry comb
$15 - hair nets
$25 - winter gloves
$40 - show crop
$50 - boot cleaning supplies (leather conditioner, boot polish, shine stick, etc.)
$75 - schooling helmet
$100 - 4 wooden jump poles
$250 - a new set of lesson saddle pads, 10 in total
$500 - one student's scholarship for the spring semester
