Story

Members from Emporia State Universitys chapter of Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate, FBLA (formally PBL) traveled to Pittsburg State University to compete in the 2023 State Leadership Conference. ESU was one of six schools that competed at the event. Emporia State students collectively placed 32 times at the competition and brought home 12 first place finishes. All eleven ESU students earned top placements and are eligible to compete at the National Conference in Atlanta, GA, in June. Many of these students are seniors this year and Nationals will be their last competition in FBLA.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). It builds on communication, leadership, networking, entrepreneurial, and business skills for the future. All majors are welcome to join FBLA.

As a member of Emporia States FBLA, students can compete in over 50 events at the state and national level, help in various community service events, gain leadership skills and experience, apply classroom learning to a real-world setting, promote business to the community, and be trained to be the next line of leaders in any profession.
