Here’s how it works: Get active for at least 30 minutes a day, whether it’s running, walking with your dog, dancing, or any physical activity you enjoy. Lack of transportation impacts over 25% of the cancer patients treated at the Baptist Cancer Center each year. In 2023, the Baptist Cancer Center Patients Assistance Fund has helped provide over 916 rides to patients in need getting to their doctor appointment or treatment. This one act seems so small but could mean the difference between life and death to someone else.
