Story
In honor of Dr. Bennie L. Harris's Investiture as the university's fifth Chancellor, the USC Upstate Foundation has established the USC Upstate Excellence Fund to support Dr. Harris's vision to Reimagine Upstate!
As the dynamics of education, research, and workforce development create opportunities for new programs and services, USC Upstate must have flexible resources that will allow us to respond and help fulfill our mission and objectives as a university.
Gifts to the Excellence Fund are vital to the success of USC Upstate. They direct resources to the most important, promising, and appropriate purposes in support of the University's Reimagine Upstate strategic initiatives.
Your unrestricted gift to the Excellence Fund will:
Provide scholarships so more students can attend USC Upstate.
Give students hands-on experience in their intended careers.
Create new major programs to address new careers and workforce needs.
Enable students and faculty to work with local companies to solve real problems.
Elevate the economic health of the Upstate region.
Thank you for supporting our Day of Giving! Together, we can offer an education for all that inspires a thriving and just society.
