FIT's Photography and Related Media department empowers students to excel in both technical and creative aspects of photography, preparing them for careers across fashion, journalism, fine art, and video production. The AAS program builds foundational skills in analog and digital photography, black-and-white printing, and post-production, while the BFA program expands into multimedia projects, advanced techniques, and industry internships​.
