St. Matthew Church and School is a place of comfort and peace for people who are seeking the presence of Jesus in an ever-changing world.

Our neighborhood, Mayfair, has a corner famous for hosting gatherings of sudden outbursts of joy for Philadelphia's sports teams, parades, and festivals. However, St. Matthew Church and School celebrations are constant and ongoing. Mass is celebrated daily on our corner of Cottman Avenue; we also joyfully celebrate sacraments, weddings, and educational successes.
