As we get closer to the season of gathering with the people who matter most, we’re launching our Giving Tuesday campaign in a way that feels warm, meaningful, and easy to join. Friendsgiving for Good is a simple way to bring your circle together and support families in our region who could use a little extra help this season. While many of us share meals with loved ones, thousands of our neighbors are struggling to put food on the table. I want to do my part to change that.

I’m hosting this fundraiser because even a small amount—$5 or $10 from a few friends—can help provide real meals for real families right here in our community.

And this year, every gift goes twice as far.

Thanks to the generosity of the Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation and an Anonymous Fund held at the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, every dollar will be matched, up to $300,000. That means every $1 provides 14 meals instead of 7.

Whether you invite your friends, start your own fundraising page, or join an existing one, every small act makes a difference. Even five or ten dollars from a handful of people can help put real meals on the tables of real families right here at home.
