Story

The Arboretum at Flagstaff is a beautiful demostration garden with hundreds of native plants of the Coloradeau Plateau. Our gardens really need a refresh this season and your help would be amazing!

About the charity

Frances B. McAllister founded the Arboretum at Flagstaff as The Transition Zone Horticultural Institute in 1981. She found gardening at 7,000 feet to be a challenge. Her experimentation and success in high elevation gardening prompted her to share her gardens and research with the community.
