On Friday, January 10, 2020 20 golfers (10 two-person teams) will each play a combined 100 holes of golf to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay service expansion and sustainability initiative as part of the Great Futures Golf Challenge. Funds generated will scholarship children in need so that they can attend one of the many Clubs in Hillsborough & Pasco Counties. Many of the Clubs have waiting lists and the need to reach, serve and sustain these services for less fortunate children and their families is a priority.

Prior to the January 10th event, these Courageous Golfers will be asking family, friends, colleagues, corporations, foundations, civic clubs and other institutions to support the cause by pledging a certain amount of money for each hole they complete or to simply make a flat donation. Either option is a 100% tax deductible donation.

GOLFERS are equipped with a website which makes it easy to alert others that they are participating in this event and to see their support. The ideal golf participant loves young people, enjoys golf, and has the reach to ask others to support them in their quest to raise money for the children being served by Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.

SPONSORS receive their name and logo on the Boys & Girls Club website (Great Futures Golf Challenge Page) which is up all year long as well as on the individual web-pages of each of the 20 golfers which provides exposure to thousands each day from Oct. 2019 through Feb 2020.

DONORS receive the satisfaction that they have made a difference in the lives of thousands of young people for the short and long term as well as a 100% tax deduction for their gift.

All proceeds enable us to serve more youth, more often, and continue the implementation of programs in the areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Leadership Development.
