Generations For Peace USA has an ambitious nationwide goal to invest in people, processes and policies to prevent violence in the United States. We believe peacebuilding, defined as the wide range of actions that address root causes and impacts of violence to prevent their recurrence, is more important now than ever, as the United States faces unprecedented levels of polarization and identity-based divisions and violence.

In all of our programs, we use a participatory approach to monitoring, evaluation, and learning that helps communities make sense of impacts resulting from their Generations For Peace interactions, and inform their choices into whats next for their programs. We measures changes in individuals, relationships, and systems, such as changes in acceptance, cooperation, inclusion, respect, responsibility and trust among and between groups experiencing division and conflict.
