The Global Ambassador Scholarship was started nearly 10 years ago to provide students from any major or program with scholarship support so they could study abroad.

Studying abroad is a life-changing transformational experience. The fact that the students taking advantage of this opportunity come from every type of background and do not limit themselves to 'traditional' parts of the world speaks volumes to their sense of global citizenship and engagement. This scholarship supports 1-3 students per semester to go on any approved program. Students who are required to study abroad as part of their academic program and those in need are given priority, but all students are welcome to apply. Over time, we have granted funds across all three colleges and a host of majors.
