Story
The goPINK Project began as a way to give back, and while 2020 may look different, our tradition of coming together to support cancer patients continues. We hope you'll join us!
Founded in 2010, the goPINK Project is a creative, community-based fundraising effort for the Middlesex Health Cancer Center. Donations help cover the costs of integrative medicine therapy for all cancer survivors served by the Middlesex Health Cancer Center, including those with breast cancer.
Integrative medicine complements conventional cancer treatment. It focuses on the whole person, body, mind and spirit, and helps many patients find relief from pain, neuropathy and other cancer-related symptoms or treatment side-effects. Patients who are cared for at our Middletown and Westbrook locations can choose from acupuncture, reflexology, massage therapy and more.
Over the past ten years, goPINK has raised more than $263,000 to provide free integrative medicine therapy to 1,400 cancer patients. Because integrative medicine is often not covered by insurance, this community support makes integrative medicine services available to those who might otherwise not be able to afford them.
goPINK 2020: All Quacked Up!
This year, we are not able to hold some of our traditional programs, such as pink streaks or the goPINK Party. Instead, join us for the goPINK Duck Race!
To participate, start a fundraising team here on JustGivingjust click the orange "Start Fundraising" button. The team that raises the most funds for their duck(s) will be eligible for prizes!
If you would prefer to enter a duck as an individual or make a donation without entering the duck race, please visit middlesexhealth.org/gopink.
