Story
When I was a sophomore at Lincoln, I found out I was pregnant. I was a first-generation college student on a full scholarship, so the consequences of my choices ran deep. With the sacrifices, love and support of my mom, Marie, and my grandmother, Mildred, who often took care of my daughter, Skylar, when I was in class, studying for tests or going to parties, I still graduated. I started this scholarship to help young, brilliant Black women at Lincoln who are pregnant or single mothers keep pressing and pushing toward their goals. Let's bless and encourage them with Lincoln love in the form of financial support!
