Harvest for the Hungry 2023

Welcome to the annual AACAR Harvest for the Hungry food & funds drive supporting the Anne Arundel County Food Bank! Offices compete to see who can raise the most funds & earn ultimate bragging rights while alleviating food insecurity in our county.

It's our mission to alleviate food insecurity in Anne Arundel County by partnering across our community to obtain and distribute nourishing food to our neighbors in need. Last year we were able to distribute over 4 million pounds of food to our network of 80+ Member Agencies at no cost to them.

Story

When you donate to the AACFB, you help our neighbors in need! Your impact is tremendous and far-reaching. In August 2023 alone, the food bank:

Distributed 266,434 pounds of food and basic necessities

Had 11,579 household visits to food pantry network partners

Had 1,012 visits to baby pantry network partners
