September 8th, a lady arrived at the new POPP Spay & Neuter Clinic that is still under construction with two kittens she had found. One of them was in need of vet urgent care.

After x-rays at Horse Heaven Hills Urgent Care it was discovered that the sweet kitty had a bad break in her leg, possibly due to being hit by a car. It was then recommended that she be transferred to a clinic that could repair the damage.

Hattie was tranferred to VCA Animal Hospital in Richland where a plan for treatment was created that will allow her to keep and use her leg that will not have the infection risk that amputation would bring. The estimated cost is $1,000.00 and we have already paid over $300 for the initial diagnosis. Every little bit will help get this sweet kitty back on all 4 feet in no time!
