Preserving our history is a responsibility we all share. It’s the key to understanding where we come from and where we are going. Your giving will help to purchase quality scanners and fund digitization projects, ensuring that our archival treasures inspire generations to come. Physical items such as cassette tapes, reel-to-reels, and paper documents become brittle or deteriorate. Scholar Works at Harding, our online institutional repository, holds several digital collections such as yearbooks and dissertations, but there is still a long way to go. As we continue to add to the archives and the Harding School of Theology collection moves to Searcy, this project will help us expand access to the collection and share our heritage globally.
Harding School of Theology in Memphis has chosen to unite with Brackett Library in Searcy to raise funds for the Library Preservation and Digitization Project. Moving the Memphis theological and archival book collection to Searcy is a complex project. Gifts to this project will help ensure that these valuable resources receive the care and attention they deserve.
Future students will thank you!
