Howard admissions applications have increased 15% since last year with the university continuing to receive over 25K applications for the annual admissions cycle. Historically, Georgia ranks as one of the top five states of admission acceptance. Vice President Kamala Harris has certainly contributed to increased interest in our beloved University.

COVID-19 has impacted us in ways that cause concern. The inability to connect in person has significantly hampered our ability as an alumni club to continue with the events and engagements that have allowed us to raise the capital necessary to award scholarships to deserving students from the Atlanta metro area. Over the past 5 years, we have awarded in excess of $150K to over 60 students.

Now, WE NEED YOU! We are not able to continue to award similar annual scholarships. Our Atlanta metro students have been touched by our college fairs, bus trips, mentoring, scholarship, and advocacy; and they attest to the indelible mark we have made on their pursuit for a Howard University education. Imagine the impact that your contribution will make on these students as they share their students to the world. We cannot let them down.
