The Department of Music, in collaboration with TNT social club, seeks to reach their goal of $2 million to fully fund the William W. Hollaway Endowed Music Chair.

During Homecoming 2023, TNT announced the establishment of the chair at their 90th reunion, with approximately $1.2 million in cash and pledges raised by TNT brothers and queens. The Department of Music now invites all alumni and friends to join forces on this project that will help to promote our rich musical heritage at Harding.

For more than 40 years William “Doc” Hollaway, retired professor of music theory and piano and long-time TNT sponsor, had a profound impact on countless music students and more than 1,500 TNT brothers and queens through his outstanding teaching and example of selfless Christian service. Once the goal is reached, the Endowed Chair will fund a music professor’s position in the name of William Hollaway in perpetuity.
