Humber Polytechnic is responding to new ways of learning by building a world-class arts-and-culture facility for students and the local community at our Lakeshore campus. Known as the Humber Cultural Hub (HCH), this transformative project will be the largest capital undertaking in Humber’s history.
It will be purpose-built for performance halls, labs, studios and collaborative spaces for music, film, TV, comedy, theatre, visual and other creative and performing arts, while also integrating Indigenous culture and sustainability into the building design and programming. It will be a focal point for southwestern Toronto, connecting Humber to the city’s vibrant arts scene, while opening doors to the community through technology-rich teaching and performance spaces and professional-quality music, film, TV, multimedia equipment and training facilities.
As the new home for Humber’s award-winning music, creative arts and multimedia programs, the HCH is the cornerstone of our Unlimited Campaign, with a goal of raising $10 million for state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and student support and programming. Your support ensures we will achieve our full vision for the HCH at Lakeshore campus and have the resources needed to help students gain the skills and experience they need to achieve their unlimited potential.
