First Tee Greater Baltimore is a youth development non-profit organization focused on providing opportunities to the youth of Baltimore through the game of golf.

Story

On May 20th, 2026, four members at Country Club of Maryland will play 100 holes of golf in support of First Tee – Greater Baltimore. This Hundred Hole Hike is not just about golf. It’s about giving young people access to a game that teaches life skills like perseverance, honesty, and how to hit a fairway. First Tee aims to ensure that every young person in Baltimore has a shot at something greater than golf: character, confidence, and a community that believes in them.

This Hundred Hole Hike is a chance for our community to rally around those young people. We’re excited that this year will also see foursomes completing a Hundred Hole Hike at Baltimore Country Club, Eagle’s Nest Country Club, and Hayfields on May 20th. All the money raised by these Hikes will support First Tee programming in Baltimore and the over 600 young people that attend the year-round programming offered by First Tee – Greater Baltimore.

As an added bonus, we are excited to offer donors the opportunity to enter a raffle to play one of three fantastic courses in the region: Somerset Hills Country Club, Aronimink Golf Club and Philadelphia Cricket Club. Winners will receive a (1) one round for (3) three at one of these clubs. Please note the guest fees are covered, but caddie fees and other incidentals are not. Donors who give over the amounts listed below will automatically be entered into the raffle. The drawing will take place following the Hikes on May 20th.

Raffle Details:

• Every $200 gets you one (1) entry

• Every $500 gets you four (4) entries

• Every $1000 gets you ten (10) entries

Every Dollar Makes a Difference:

--$100 supports 20 rounds of golf for First Tee students through Youth on Course.

--$500 covers the cost of one coach for 6 classes.

--$1,000 supports facility maintenance costs across our 11 programming locations.

--$2,500 covers the cost of one coach for the year.

--$5,000 provides a set of golf clubs for 15 First Tee students.

Chip in today. Help us change lives through golf. Because no kid should grow up without a shot at greatness - on or off the course.

First Tee - Greater Baltimore is a character education program aimed at helping change the trajectory of greater Baltimore youth. The foundation we have built in the communities we serve, is strong. With the help of our Learning Centers at Clifton Park and Forest Park Golf Courses our coaches have been able to introduce youth to the game of golf, and present national and scholarship opportunities to our students, early on. Through these spaces, we have been able to facilitate a practice ground for personal growth for our students that allows them to build character and better navigate the ongoing challenges of today’s world.
