MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Hi, I’m Ian Michael Crumm, licensed esthetician and a 2024 Melanoma Research Foundation committee member. I am deeply committed to making “sun safety sexy” and saving lives through melanoma/skin cancer prevention. I am honored to fundraise for the MRF and invite you to join me in supporting the fight against melanoma, as this mission is profoundly personal for me.
Sun safety goes beyond my career – it’s a heartfelt mission. In 1985 my beloved grandma, “Glamie,” bravely fought melanoma on her right leg. Seeing her scar from a young age, I vowed now as an esthetician to educate on sun safety and everything in my power to protect others from experiencing what Glamie went through. Skin cancer is not only preventable but also highly visible, and when detected early, the 5-year survival rate for melanoma is an incredible 98%.
HONORED TO ACCEPT THE 2024 INFLUENCER AWARD
I am incredibly honored to share that I have been selected as the 2024 Influencer Award and will be recognized at the Melanoma Research Foundation’s upcoming gala in New York City this October. This recognition fuels my commitment to educate and protect as many people as possible, and shine a light on melanoma and skin cancer prevention.
