IEEW is an OKC-based nonprofit organization that works to empower women around the world economically, socially, and politically. Since 2006, IEEW has provided PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS training to women entrepreneurs in Afghanistan and Rwanda, with the goal of helping them to grow and scale their businesses, contribute to their economy, and create an environment that fosters peace. The PTB program has three primary components: In-country training, mentorship with American business women and men, and leadership development in the U.S. To date, 1,089 women have been impacted through this program.
We started our 17th Afghan class and 16th Rwandan class in January 2023, and we also hope to expand into another country next year. This year we are planning Leadership Development in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma!
