Story
Some things about Camp Warren will always stay the same – the morning bugle before jumping into the water (BORP!). Campers making their way to set tables before breakfast, the excitement in the air about the day ahead! Sailors taking stock of the wind on Half Moon Lake, others already imagining what they will create at the Craft Palace for their pottery activity, and another group of campers talking and laughing as they head to the athletic field for their morning activity. Imagine that perfect Warren Day – blue sky, friendships, learning, and adventuring in the Northwoods. What a gift it is to be part of the Warren community – to be seen and valued by each other. To be away from screens and connected to something bigger than us all. The lessons learned are timeless, offering a hand, asking for help, finding the courage to try something new. The shared gratitude to have a space and a place that fosters creativity and human connection, “tucked away in the heart of the pines”.
The things about Warren that are timeless – the campers, the staff, the generations that have gone before and the generations to come – this is why we fundraise. Our collective impact helps create opportunities for future campers and staff to leave their legacy, just as many of you have left yours.
Camp Warren is celebrating 100 years next summer! Join us in strengthening the next 100 years – 2027 and beyond.
