Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are life saving devices that can change the outcome of an emergency cardiac event. At Iowa Heart Foundation, our AED program helps with the placement of AEDs in Iowa.

Since 2011, we've have donated 253 AEDs and in 70 of the 99 counties in Iowa. This last year we also hosted 20 hands-only CPR & AED classes with 153 attendees. We want every Iowan to have the education and tools to keep the communities they call home safe and prepared.
