Our hearts were broken on Friday, July 14, 2023 when Julie Younger passed away. Julie has been instrumental in the work of Iowa Heart Foundation. Her leadership and vision have been a driving force in the work we do for as long as we can remember. Many lives have been impacted because of her.

She was a strong and smart leader who led with compassion and grace. We will miss her deeply.

It will be our honor to continue to work to improve the heart health of all Iowans in her memory.
