Our Junior Golf program was created by Joe Mortellaro in an effort to instill a love of philanthropy and the game of golf among juniors. This event began at Mount Vernon Country Club, where junior golfers could play a competitive course while fundraising for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio.
Over time, this event has evolved to also include an event for the whole family at Topgolf Columbus. This junior golf event will consist of teams of six golfers. Experience level may vary as we hope that this event helps teach our juniors about philanthropy and the game of golf.
There is no entry fee for teams; however, each team is asked to raise a minimum of $600 for RMHC of Central Ohio.
The top two teams will receive special prizes. The team that wins the fundraising competition and the team that wins overall play will win a prize package. All participants will be included in our fundraising incentive program to encourage personal fundraising.
