At Legal Aid of West Virginia, we believe justice is for all people, not just for those who an afford an attorney. Imagine facing a serious legal problem affecting your safety, family, housing, livelihood or access to benefits like education and health care with little to no understanding of the legal system. Supporters of equal justice, especially those who are attorneys, understand what the unrepresented are up against.

We strive to fill this justice gap by providing free legal services for our states most vulnerable people. But we cant do it alone. That's why we started the Just One Campaign in 2017, asking members of the Bar, as well as other justice-loving people, to help support our work by donating Just One gift, Just One time a year, in an amount (for attorney donors) that is at least equivalent to their hourly billing rate. Since its inception, this effort has raised nearly $700,000 to support our much needed services.
