Welcome to the JLW Kitchen Tour 2022 Recipe Collection!

Do you have a favorite recipe that's too good not to share? Easy or complicated, healthy or comforting, fine dining or weeknight favorite; if you love it, wed love to include it!

Leading up to the 11th annual Kitchen Tour, we are hosting a recipe exchange to support our Washington DC area community partners. All donations help ensure the Junior League of Washington's mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through the effective action, and leadership of trained volunteers.

This is the first step of the submission process. Popular donation amounts are: $15, $25, $50, $100 or more! Please submit your donation on this page, and include your contact information. Once submitted, you will receive an email with a link to add your recipe in a Google Form. Please do so before the closing date of February 23, 2022.

After all the recipes are received and compiled, you will receive a digital booklet full of wonderful recipes to enjoy and share. Thank you for your support, and we cant wait to try out your recipes!

How to submit your donation:

Step 1 Donate any amount to the Junior League of Washington (we are grateful for all the support we receive!)

Step 2 Look out for an email from kitchentour@jlw.org. Click the link in the email you receive and submit your recipe on the form by February 23, 2022. (if you do not see the email, please check your spam folder. Reach out to kitchentour@jlw.org if its still not there)

Step 3 Submit your recipe!

Step 4 Share the submission information with your friends and family!

Step 5 Get your copy of the virtual potluck recipe collection in April 2022 in the days leading up to Kitchen Tour!

Who can participate?

Anyone! Both members and non-members are welcome to participate.

What if I never receive the email to submit a recipe?

The email with the Google form should arrive within five business days of donating from kitchentour@jlw.org. Please check your spam folder, and if you still have not received it, please reach out to kitchentour@jlw.org.

What if I don't have a recipe to share, but I want to contribute?

Thank you for your willingness to donate! We will gladly accept any contributions, with or without a recipe. And you will still receive a copy of the recipe collection.

I cant think of a recipe - can I include one I like to use from online?

Yes! We accept all recipes, but; please include how to credit the recipe appropriately.

What is the Kitchen Tour?

The Kitchen Tour is an annual fundraising event that showcases unique homes and kitchens in the greater Washington, DC area. This years theme is A Trip Around the World, and it will showcase the beautiful neighborhood of Old Town, Alexandria while highlighting different cultures through music, food, and art. Tickets will go on sale in mid March 2022, we hope to see you there!

How long do I have to submit?

You may submit your recipes from December 15, 2021 to February 23, 2022.
