Story
Lewis College is about project-based education, about inviting students to join faculty in grappling with real-world problems to create new solutions and uncover new discoveries. Scholarship aid does exactly this, from funding our students in summer research opportunities to grapple with emergent research and inventions under the close mentorship of a faculty member to chasing their own research questions that they may have formed in an iPro or a course.
Your support allows us to fund research and project opportunities for our students, which will bridge internship and exploration. Scholarships will pay for students to work in labs, in the community, or closely with a faculty on an important social and scientific need.
Over the last year, our faculty have been crushing it. We have a new games and interactive media program for those who want to design immersive environments for both leisure but also serious business, such as mental health or engineering training.
We have a new masters degree in Sensor Science and Technology, which brings together Chemistry, Electrical Computer Engineering, Business, and Design to respond to the data collection needs of the future through the sensor development that we need to engage in now.
We have a world class rehabilitation psychology program, top two in the nation, for which the major goal is to assist a person with a disability or chronic illness to move to psychological and economic independence.
