As an organization with more than a century of experience in caring for our community, the Valley of the Sun YMCA responds quickly to these challenges; creatively expanding our programs to meet our community when, where and how we are needed most.

ADVANCING CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT

Y programs are committed to executing experiences rich in social/emotional learning because youth do better when they have supportive adults nurturing their potential.

In 2022, the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA will:

Serve 30 new families in early learning and school age childcare programs

Expand the early learning program to serve children ages 2-4

DEVELOPING COMMUNITY LEADERS

Y programs provide experiences that build a sense of belonging and welcome young people to develop their self-identity.

In 2022, the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA will:

Provide teen leadership programming to 30 teens

Develop strong community partnerships for our teen programs

PROMOTING HEALTHY LIVING

Y membership and wellness programs can improve the health and well-being of our community to reduce chronic disease, obesity, and improve mental health.

In 2022, the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA will:

Provide families with opportunities to experience the Y through membership and family activities

STRENGTHENING FAMILIES

Y programs support parents in creating stronger families to lower child poverty, reduce social-isolation, increase positive health outcomes, and increase family income.

In 2022, the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA will:

Provide safe and affordable housing for 140 low-income adults

Enhance the Residence program with partnerships to provide case management, health coaching, and social opportunities
