Kick-start your holiday season with LSSIs first annual Pumpkin Pie Fun Run: Baking the World a Butter Place! Choose your own challenge for this virtual event, and complete a 1k, 5k, or 10k anytime and anywhere between November 24 and November 30. Run, walk, hike, bike, or even snowshoe: how you get to the finish line is up to you! Whether you complete your race individually on your favorite trail, on a treadmill, or with a group of friends, your participation will help raise awareness for the need for mental health care in Illinois.

Participants will receive an event T-shirt and a pair of holiday socks mailed in December.

LSSI serves over 25,000 clients each year who come to us seeking mental health treatment, from young children through seniors. Proceeds will support LSSIs mental health services, including counseling for families and children through Intact and therapeutic foster care, drug and alcohol treatment for youth and adults, emergency mental health treatment through Mobile Crisis and Project Impact, and more.

Distance options: 1k/5k/10k

Race day: You decide! Complete your race anytime between November 24 and November 30. You can even break up the distance across multiple days if that works best for you.

Location: Anywhere! Create your own course and complete your race on your own, with friends, or as a family.

Reporting deadline: November 30

Prizes: One racer drawn at random from each distance category will win a $50 gift card.

Registrants must submit their race results by November 30 to be entered to win. An additional $50 gift-card winner will be selected at random from those who submit a photo. Your welcome email will include details on how to submit your photo.
