Story
A group of hardy fundraisers are taking in the Port of Leith Distillery Abseil 2026 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support in Scotland.
All of them care about making sure people living with cancer can get the support they need, when they need it.
Why this matters:
Cancer affects families across Scotland every day. Macmillan is there with practical help, emotional support and trusted information. From a friendly voice on the end of the phone to advice on money worries, Macmillan stands beside people through the tough parts of treatment and beyond.
The challenge
The group will clip in, lean back and descend the iconic distillery building at the Port of Leith. It will be nerve jangling, unforgettable and completely worth it. Your donation will give them the courage to step over the edge and keep going to the bottom.
How you can help
•Donate what you can. Every pound makes a difference.
•Add Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer. It boosts your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you.
•Share the link with friends, family and colleagues to help us reach more people.
•Cheer them on. Leave a message. They can read every one before we climb over the edge.
Where your money goes
Your donation helps fund services across Scotland that offer practical, emotional and financial support for people living with cancer and their families. You will be helping today, and you will be giving hope for tomorrow.
