The Compleat Food Group, parent company of Palethorpes Bakery, is proud to be the headline sponsor of the Market Drayton 10k (MD10k) 2025, taking place on Sunday 11th May 2025.

The MD10k is a highlight of the Market Drayton calendar, bringing together up to 2,000 runners annually. A long-time supporter of the event, The Compleat Food Group has provided post-race pastries for many years and previously sponsored the children’s Fun Run.

This year’s race is particularly special as The Compleat Food Group is strengthening its support for its official charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support.

As the new official Charity Partner of the MD10k 2025, Macmillan will be at the heart of this year’s event, encouraging participants to ‘Go Macmillan Green’ by wearing something green to show their support. Whether it’s a green shirt, a themed fancy dress outfit, or even green shoelaces, runners can help raise vital funds for people living with cancer across the UK.

Every £34 raised could fund a Macmillan Information and Support Manager for an hour, giving those affected by cancer the opportunity to ask questions and talk through concerns.

To reward fundraising efforts, the top three fundraisers who raise over £250 via JustGiving will receive a free race entry for the 2026 event. Additionally, there will be a competition for the best Macmillan-themed outfit, with the winner receiving a free race ticket for next year’s event.
