"It is a welcome challenge every rugby season to assemble the pieces for a successful campaign. This year our team chemistry and mental fitness has grown with each match. We have been fortunate to have players step up to the challenge, overcome some early key injuries, and stay focused with their work rate on the field both at training and on game day.

Coach Vincent and I are looking forward to letting these student-athletes experience the excitement of a National Championship Final 4 tournament against some tough competition. This team is ready to put their skillsets and fitness to the test and represent Cal Poly Humboldt on the national stage.

All of our players are playing really well and we have stressed being part of the rugby family the last couple of seasons and this unselfish rugby is peaking for us on this playoff run."
