My favorite Wooster memory was in Ebert with Professor Marina Mangubi. She was a professor who never seemed to be satisfied with my tight oil paintings that I would work on for hours upon hours. One day, I did a quick assignment for her in which I sketched a cat in acrylics. She looked at the sketch and said, Youve found your medium. Ive never touched oil paints since and Ive defined myself as an artist with acrylics. That moment shaped my entire artistic life and career.
