Support the Mt. Hood Community College Athletic Department and student-athletes on Giving Tuesday, set for Tuesday, December 3.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity initiative that started in 2012, which has blossomed into a movement that inspires millions to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

This global initiative is a great opportunity for all of our community partners, alumni, students and staff to make an immediate impact for our department, student-athletes and coaches. Support for our athletic programs aids in our ability to continually deliver an outstanding experience for our student-athletes.

These funds will serve our greatest need including operating costs (transportations, per diem, lodging, etc).

MHCC had another outstanding 2023-24 academic year finishing 4th in the NWAC President’s Cup with more students earning NWAC Scholar Athlete and Academic Excellence awards. For the fourth year in a row, one of our scholar-athletes has been awarded the prestigious NWAC Art Feiro Academic Excellence award. Additionally, Ava Carrol was named the NWAC Baden Softball Player of the Year and Grace Lam-Tiang was awarded the Women’s Sports Foundation Scholarship. Our Saints Softball team won their second softball championship in three-years and many of our students were awarded All-league or All-NWAC awards.

The 2024-25 year is off to a great start with the volleyball team winning the NWAC Volleyball Crossover hosted at MHCC, our basketball teams are remarkably improved and ready to compete for a title and our spring sports are ready for another championship run!
