At Matthew House Ottawa, we believe that everyone deserves the dignity of a furnished home. In 2024 alone, thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to furnish over 1,800 homes providing essential items like beds, couches, and kitchen tables to refugees, newcomers, and families in need.

But the need is growing.

Right now, we have a long waitlist of households still waiting to receive furniture. Our current space can no longer keep up with the demand. To continue serving our community and to reach even more people we urgently need to move to a larger, more efficient facility.

That’s why we’re running in Ottawa Race Weekend. Every step we take is a step toward making this vision a reality.
