Last year, we all needed to make major adjustments to our daily lives. While it was challenging and in many cases disheartening, it was also a time where people came together for the greater good like never before. In an effort to show our support and raise funds for the healthcare heroes at Montefiore Medical Center, individuals from all over the country ran for the group that never stopped running for us. The result was an impressive $13,000 raised for a New York City hospital placed in the center of a pandemic hotspot, helping to financially support shortages of protective gear, and equipment for the professionals treating those in need. But we're just getting started.

Just because 2020 is over, does not mean that healthcare workers have stopped battling COVID-19. That is why I am asking you to join me once again, on Saturday, April 24th, 2021, for the 2nd Annual Miles for Montefiore, a virtual 10K race to help show our support for the healthcare heroes who've supported us. By signing up to participate in this race, I challenge each of you to share your mission and encourage friends and family to donate on your behalf, no matter where you are located. All proceeds from these donations will go directly to Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in their constant fight to combat COVID-19.
