Jacki was initially admitted to OCH on Valentine’s Day. The first couple weeks in the hospital, she says she felt defeated. But after a couple more weeks of getting to know the nurses, she knew she could get through a tough first pregnancy.
Exactly two months later, on April 14, her twins finally arrived. While Merrick Fox was able to head home, her brother Ryan Caulder needed to remain in the NICU to get stronger before joining the rest of the family.
It’s a wild ride, but we made it,” Jacki says. “I’m just very thankful that we had the opportunity to be somewhere that could help so much.”
