Story
Methodist University Women’s Soccer needs to raise funds to continue providing a first-class experience for student-athletes and maintain its elite facilities, as these improvements are crucial for attracting top talent, enhancing the campus, and building community pride. We have big plans for our future with retaining our student athletes and bringing in high level student athletes as well. We plan to be taking an international trip to Argentina in the spring of 2027 or spring of 2028, we have are allowed to once every four yeas per the NCAA. We last brought our program to Barcelona, Spain in 2018 and that was an unbelievable trip.
• Attracting Talent: High-quality athletic facilities are key to recruiting and retaining top student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.
• Enhancing Campus & Community: Facility upgrades contribute to the beauty and functionality of the campus, fostering a strong sense of community and pride among students, alumni, and local residents. Showcasing world-class facilities also allows the university to host local high school championships and youth tournaments, further engaging the community.
• Providing a First-Class Experience: Donations ensure that student-athletes have access to excellent resources, from well-maintained playing surfaces to modern locker rooms and entryways, which is vital for their development and safety.
Donations of all sizes make a huge impact on the soccer program and the broader university mission by directly funding critical enhancements like the soccer building, pathways, and landscaping, which ultimately benefit the entire community.
