Organised by God's Promise In HaitiDue to upcoming surgery and recovery from a previous cycling accident, I have decided to do a "No Cycling Bike Ride" May 15 - 31, 2023, for God's Promise in Haiti. As you have guessed, no cycling will occur during the "No Cycling Bike Ride." Ha, ha!
THE SITUATION: Now more than at anytime since our inception in 2016, God's Promise in Haiti desperately needs your financial support to provide food and water to those that are Haitian staff serve in Chemaly, Duvall, Blanchard, and Morne Coucou. Also, we need your financial support and prayers for God's Promise Church on our campus in Chemaly, where the Haitian Senior Pastor Junior Noel and Associate Pastor Rose-Ann Marcelin provide the community and the congregation with spiritual direction, worship service, Bible studies, and children, youth, women, and men ministries.
THE URGENCY: As you have heard from me before, the situation in Haiti continues to be dire due to the assassination of the President, the collapse of the government and security, a civil war between gangs, no public health system, and a defunct economy. As a result, the Haitian people can not work and thus cannot buy food, medicine, and water.
