Story
Across the world, humanitarian crises are becoming more severe and more frequent. Conflict, climate change and displacement are denying children their futures.
From Afghanistan to Ukraine, record numbers of children require humanitarian assistance:
• In Gaza, 658,000 children have gone over two years without formal schooling.
• In Sudan, 1.4 million children are living in areas of famine or at risk of famine.
As the richest nations slash their overseas aid budgets, children are paying the price – missing out on schooling, vaccinations and psychosocial support.
