Attendees of the NorQuest Alumni Indigenous Learning Event are encouraged to make a donation towards NorQuest’s Indigenous Legacy Access Bursary.

Finances are one of the most prevalent barriers students face when attempting to pursue higher education. Worrying about tuition, fees, and other related expenses all while paying for rent, food, and supporting dependents can become one of the main reasons why a future student postpones their educational journey.

However, through bursaries, some of this financial pressure can be resolved. Once students have financial access to a post-secondary education, they can focus on their studies and continuously make strides towards their goals.

The Indigenous Legacy Access Bursary helps remove systemic barriers to education for Indigenous students. By providing necessary funding, this bursary can foster generational change and encourage bright and driven students to pursue meaningful careers where they can then create change in their communities.
