As an organization with more than a century of experience in caring for our community, the Valley of the Sun YMCA responds quickly to these challenges; creatively expanding our programs to meet our community when, where and how we are needed most.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we can continue to ensure the health, safety and well-being of every YMCA child and family. We are working to pave the way for a bright future to all of our community no matter their age, race, gender or socioeconomic status.
The Valley of the Sun YMCAs mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
The Northwest Valley Family YMCA is dedicated to providing youth programs to all children looking for engagement and belonging.
The after-school hours of 3pm-6pm are critical times for youth to be engaged in positive activities to discourage unhealthy behaviors.
Your support will ensure all families have access to high quality programs that fit within their financial budget.
At the Northwest Valley Family YMCA, scholarships are available to provide affordable access to health and fitness programs and a place of belonging.
Memberships and wellness programs can improve the health and well-being of our community to reduce chronic disease, obesity, and improve mental health.
Your support will enable programs and services focused on mental and physical health to be available for everyone seeking a healthier lifestyle.
The Northwest Valley Family YMCA does not turn anybody away for an inability to pay for a YMCA membership or programs.
Scholarships can be applied to any Y program including Childcare, Sports, Swim Instruction, and Health/Wellness.
We award scholarships to those in the community who are seeking a healthier lifestyle, a place of belonging, or are in need of the programs the YMCA provides but they cannot afford.
